A Technical Rider is the blueprint for a
successful performance. It contains information such as lighting and
sound requirements, backline, stage size, hospitality needs, stage plots,
input lists, power, parking, - any and all the information a Presenter
(or more specifically their Production Team) need to advance a
performance. The Tech Rider can be as simple as a contact listing, a
single page of information and a stage plot, or very detailed. Placing
your Tech Rider online at TechRiderPro.com gives Presenters immediate
access to your current requirements and provides a starting point
for tailoring your Technical needs to your next Venue.

How much information
can my Tech Rider include? Is it a one-size fits all site?

TechRiderPro.com
does not limit the length of Tech Riders. Some Tech Riders may consist
of a contact page, a page of specific requirements and a stage plot,
while others will necessarily be much more detailed. Therefore,
we offer two options for artists. The “Standard”
listing will allow up to 15 pages of Tech Information (no contract,
ticketing, tour schedules, press releases or promo materials). If
additional pages beyond the standard of 15 are required, a fee will
be charged on a per page basis. TechRiderPro.com offers a
“Tech Lite” version at a reduced rate for those with Tech
Riders of 4 pages or less.

No,
TechRiderPro.com is not a Booking Agency; it is a technical information
resource. Negotiating contracts, seeking out performance dates
and associated promotional activities are best handled by professionals
skilled in these areas. TechRiderPro.com will provide a
link to your Booking Agency or a Booking Contact of your choosing
at no charge to you as part of your Contact Information.

Can I display promo materials or press releases at TechRiderPro.com?

TechRiderPro.com
is specifically designed to address only the technical requirements
of your performance. We do not display contract specifics
– your Booking Agent best handles those negotiations. We do
not display promo materials, press releases or tour schedules –
those should be on your own website or websites already in place
for providing that type of information. TechRiderPro.com
will provide a link to your Website at No Charge to you as part
of your listing.

Who will view the
information at TechRiderPro.com?

Visitors
to the site will primarily be Production Managers, Venue Managers
or Presenters who have booked your act through your Booking Agent
or Booking Contact. Or who may be interested in booking you
in the future if their Venue and your technical requirements are
a good match. These individuals will need the information
provided in your current Tech Rider to begin preparing for your
performance once a contract has been signed.

How long does

The
sign up process takes only a few minutes and can be done from any
Internet connection. After completing the registration process
you can expect to view your Tech Rider posted at TechRiderPro.com

How often can I
update my information, what does it cost and how do I do it?
|
|
The
goal of TechRiderPro.com is to provide current Tech Riders
to Presenters and their staff. Updates can, and should, be
done any time there is a change in your technical requirements.
There is no charge for making changes to your Rider and you can
make them as often as necessary. A link is provided on the
Home page for updating your existing Rider. Changes will be
incorporated within the same business day. Then you will simply
notify Presenters by sending an email telling them of the changes
and asking them to view and print the new information.

Why don’t I just put my Tech Rider on my own Website? |
|
We would
encourage you to do EXACTLY that! However, since TechRiderPro.com is the
largest single source for Tech Riders and Venue Specs on the web,
Presenters know to look to TechRiderPro.com for the information they
need. Most often your Website is hosted by a second party, which can
make it somewhat difficult for presenters to find you without knowing
your exact web address. TechRiderPro.com will provide a link to your
Website at no charge to you as part of your listing.

Riders
may be submitted in various formats. Any Word documents, Excel,
ASCII text files, HTML files or Adobe PDF’s are preferred. However,
TechRiderPro.com staff can reformat your rider for posting on the
site if necessary. If it is necessary
to submit some or all of your documents by mail click
here for instructions.

to your website for promotional and tour information which is not
