Performers who have booked your Venue. Or those who may be
interested in booking you in the future if their act or event and
your Venue are a good match. These individuals will need the
information provided in your current Venue Specs to begin preparing
for their performance once a contract has been signed.
Non Performance Venues can direct potential clients to TechRiderPro.com
for details on room layouts, facilities, equipment, etc. available
at your location.

How much information
can my Venue Specification include? Is it a one-size fits all site?

TechRiderPro.com
does not limit the length of Venue Specs. Some may consist of a
contact page, a page or two of specifications and a stage diagram,
while others will necessarily be much more detailed. Therefore,
we offer two options for Venues. The “Standard” listing
will allow up to 12 pages of Technical Information (no contract,
ticketing, schedules, press releases or promo materials). If additional
pages beyond the standard of 12 are required, a fee will be charged
on a per page basis. TechRiderPro.com offers a “Tech Lite”
version at a reduced rate for those with Specs of 4 pages or less.

Can I display promo materials or press releases at TechRiderPro.com?

TechRiderPro.com
is specifically designed to address only the technical aspects of
your Venue. We do not display contract specifics. We
do not display promo materials, press releases or performance schedules
– those should be on your own website or websites already in place
for providing that type of information.
TechRiderPro.com
will provide a link to your Website at no charge to you as part
of your listing.

How often can I
update my information, what does it cost and how do I do it?

The
goal of TechRiderPro.com is to provide current Venue Specs
to Presenters, Performers and their staff. Updates can,
and should, be done any time there is a change in your technical
specifications. There is no charge for making changes to your
Venue Spec and you can make them as often as necessary. A link is
provided on the Home page for updating your existing Specs.
Changes will normally be incorporated within the same business day.

Why don’t I just put my Venue Specs on my own Website?

We
would encourage you to do EXACTLY that! However, since TechRiderPro.com
is the largest single source for Venue Specs and Tech Riders on
the web, the advantages of also having your Venue Specs available
at TechRiderPro.com are many. The ability to access current venue
specs online makes the job of road managers, booking agents and
others associated with a production easier, cost effective and efficient.
Presenters and Performers know to look to TechRiderPro.com for the
information they need. Most often your Website is hosted by
a second party, which can make it somewhat difficult for Presenters
and Performers to find you without knowing your exact web address.
TechRiderPro.com will provide a link to your Website
at no charge to you as part of your listing.

Will Venue
Specification documents be handled differently than Tech Riders?
|
|
No, not in how they
are posted, the costs associated or the ease of making updates. We do,
however, strongly recommend that you include the following information to
make your venue/location more appealing and useful: A map and/or written
directions to your town/venue from an airport or major highways, as well
as directions to nearby lodging, hardware and variety stores, laundry
facilities, food markets etc. We will also include one digital
photograph of your stage to assist presenters and performers
visualize your space.

Specs may be submitted in various formats. Word documents, Excel,
ASCII text files, HTML files and Adobe PDF files are preferred.
TechRiderPro.com staff can reformat your rider for posting on the
site if necessary.
